The Prestige Solar Cap uses 2 high output LEDs for radiant white light. This sensational, attractive solar cap stands 5.0625” tall and is 7.0625” at its widest point. The solar panel is located on the top of the cap which allows optimum sun absorption. The solar energy is stored in the Ni-Cad Rechargeable Batteries to be converted into light at night. The length of time that the lights stay on at night is in direct proportion to the amount of sun exposure during the day. Simply put, the better the sun exposure during the day the longer the lights stay on at night. The Prestige Solar Post Caps have a full 2 year manufacturer’s warranty. These easy-to-install caps are exterior-mounted to fit a true 4" x 4" post and includes a 3.5" x 3.5" adapter.
