Right now Vinyl Fence and Aluminum fencing orders typically take 8-10 business days to ship. Horse fence is shipping in about 10 business days. After it ships - it will take 3 to 5 business days in transit (depending on your location). So you will receive the vinyl fencing in about 2.5 to 3 weeks after you order. Post caps are typically shipped within 2 business days.
Vinyl Arbors and Trellises are usually shipped within 2-4 business days of the order. (Most Vinyl Arbor's and Trellises come directly from the manufacturer via UPS in boxes) Some of the larger Garden Products are sent via common carrier and will take 5 to 10 business days to ship.
Your fence order will be coming to you directly from our manufacturing facility. It will be necessary for you or your representative to be on site at the time of the delivery to unload the truck. Our trucking companies will call before arriving to arrange a day and time for delivery.
Most shipments are typically delivered on pallets. The pallets are typically broken open to be offloaded by hand or you can use a forklift. Most residential deliveries will need to be offloaded by hand. Depending on the size of your order - you must have another person(s) to help unload the truck. The driver is only responsible to get the order to the end of the truck (if possible - Post and Rail orders with 16' rails cannot be moved to the back of the truck). It is the recipients responsibility to remove it. This only applies to Motor Freight deliveries not any order that can be sent via UPS.
The sections come ready to assemble - all rails are routed, all pickets are cut and labeled, all posts are routed and labeled. The sections will need to be put together on site (USAVinyl cannot ship pre-assembled sections do to high shipping costs)
USAVinyl loads the truck with the correct items and takes a digital picture of the materials before leaving our facility. All orders are fully insured by USAVinyl. After the materials have left our facility it is the trucking company's responsibility to get it to you in good condition. Any shortage or damage must be noted on the bill of lading at the time of delivery. USAVinyl is not responsible for any damage or shortage caused by the delivery company. If customer requests incurs additional overtime, incurs a re-delivery fee, or uses other optional service from shipper, customer must contract these
services directly with shipper and pay driver at time of delivery. In compliance with DOT guidelines, shipper only guarantees product to be free from damage when the truck drives onto the customers property. Customers are responsible for unloading the truck and assume full
liability for damage to material while unloading - even if driver assists. Customer understands that each trucking company provides insurance for damaged or shorted material while in transit. Problems are rare, but if they
do occur, sign and mark the problem on the Bill of Lading. An insurance adjuster will be assigned in your area and you will be notified of the steps being taken. Make all claims promptly. Frequently an inspector will be sent out to see the damage or to note a shortage. It is the customer's responsibility to seek reimbursement from the trucking company for any damages or shortages. USAVinyl will always try and help our customers any way we can.
Refused deliveries incur a 35% re-stocking fee plus applicable cancellation fees, in-bound freight charges, and shipping and handling back to the manufacturer at the customer's rate. Please do not refuse a delivery, contact USAVinyl for a RMA. You can cancel your order within 24 hours of placing your order.
Upon delivery of your order make sure that you check the pallet/pallets for your name and invoice number.
When asked to sign any delivery receipts it is important to put “Subject to Inspection” and sign your name.
You must report any product errors within 48 hours of receipt. After 48 hours it is the customer’s responsibility to file all insurance claims with the carrier for any damages, errors, or missing product.
