Strength and Durability. Our Double Beam headers are true 2”x8” beams with aluminum inserts in the beams. (CLICK HERE to see our 2" x 8" aluminum reinforcement.) The rafters are a true 2" x 6" and are reinforced with aluminum beams (12' and above projections). And finally, the top 7/8" x 3" purlins(slats) are spaced 3" apart for 50% shade coverage! Actual Size Pricing. The prices quoted here are for the center to center dimension of the posts. So our 16' Projection x 16' Width is the actual location of the posts center to center. To calculate the top canopy dimension for the double beam freestanding, add 3'-4" to the width and 2'-6" for the projection. Which would make the top canopy 19'-4" wide x 18'-6" projection. (CLICK HERE to see an example diagram of how projection x width is defined.) Most companies price your pergola by the top dimension only.

| | | - Size- Our pergolas are defined as Width x Projection. The size is from the posts center to center dimensions. To see an example diagram CLICK HERE to show how Width x Projection is defined.
- Height- The height is from the ground to the bottom of the lower header. Typically that dimension is 8', but you can also order 10' heights. Either one can be trimmed down. To see our part definition guide that defines the header, rafter and purlins -CLICK HERE.
- Color- White, Tan, and Khaki
- Install- Your pergola can be installed on concrete or in-ground. If you choose on concrete, you will receive concrete mounts. If you choose in ground, you will receive longer inserts.
